Water gates
Large-size gates
Description
Large-size gates and accompanying components are designed to provide the required strength and stiffness for maximum water head pressure. Optionally the gate can be equipped with a compensation fitting that balances the water levels on both sides of the gate prior to its lifting.
Wall gate type ZK-S-MT
- sealed along four edges
- two-sided leak proof for pressures up to 6 m of water column
- lifting mechanism featuring constant height of the power screw top end
- made fully of stainless steel
- applicable for inlets from channels of rectangular or circular cross section
- optionally equipped with electric power drive and related accessories
Possible applications – stopping water/wastewater inflow in:
- communal water/wastewater treatment plants
- industrial plants
- melioration systems
- drainage systems, e.g. for roads and motorways
Installation:
- installation by means of intermediate angle steel and chemical anchors
- no cutting of the concrete structures required
- if needed, can be fitted with special attachments for leak proof installation to the window in a round chamber
Materials used:
- made fully of stainless steel grade 1.4301 or other on request
- sealing: EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) rubber or NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber)
Channel gate type ZK-MT
- sealed along three edges
- two-sided leak proof for pressures up to 6 m of water column
- lifting mechanism featuring constant height of the power screw top end
- made fully of stainless steel
- applicable for open channels or in recesses of channel walls
Possible applications – stopping water/wastewater inflow in:
- communal water/wastewater treatment plants
- industrial plants
- melioration systems
- drainage systems, e.g. for roads and motorways
Installation:
- possible installation by fastening with aid of angle shapes directly to the channel walls (which results in the reduction of the cross section area)
Materials used:
- made fully of stainless steel grade 1.4301 or other on request
- sealing: EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) rubber or NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber)
